Help, what staff do i need to pick !

+1 This guy is totally right. If u r gonna stay paper (which i wouldnt suggest for a high lvl mage) u can find some good staffs to replace the personal one. Being an Int mage (using complete armor) u would understand how important is that extra AC and HP u get from the pole (30 ac is a lot) if you are a support mage (light or ice) and u can get another staff f u r fire, even a elixir would work.

So as MadHatter said I think Pole is the smart decison, there s nothing in the game compared with this pole for a mage.

either 1 at +6/+7 is gay compare making some unique staff+8.. unless ur gunna us the pole like ppl use their personal shields+3

Lets take a closer look.

Staff of Player +7 - 111 AP - 56 All - 7 HP 7 MP - 14FR 14GR 14LR
Scorching Staff +7 - 113 AP - 56 Flame - 5 HP 5 DD

They're almost identical.
The Staff of Player has 2 LESS AP, but 2 more HP, and the resists.
I would say, because of the DD and AP, Scorching +7 is even BETTER than Staff of Player+7.

I completely agree.. people don't bother to look into things when they pick something.. they just see high AP at +0 and low AP on the pole and are like zomg it sux.. UHHH have u seen the ac of that Pole at +7 or +6? I'm pretty sure i'd like a 3rd RoL to be on my char just by wielding a freaking staff -.- not to mention the bonuses are hot as can be.. if u want semi-int fire ---> Scorching or Hell Blood.

Def. Poll of player. Besides the fact that you use it for undy, when you get chased, you can put it on for more ac/hp.

There is no STAFF ingame that you can compare to the poll and there are quite a few you can compare to the staff.

my advice is the pole MAges are already week that extra 30 Defense makes a big difrence Also upgradein it high would help but it all depends if ur support mage or if ur gonna go out and pk alot..
