Do not ask your friends to vouch for you. That is bypassing the system set in place to have to earn trust. Do some small trades worth like $20-$30 if you have to. Do enough of them and people will add you to their trusties list.

If you add someone to your trusties list just because you are their friend, then you are part of the problem.
