Aqu - Since I am going with the assumption that K2 doesn't research where the items went, then yes, there may be possibility of duplicates created. As we see with their "dupe wipes", known dupes are sometimes not deleted soon after they are created, if at all. There may never be a problem that arises from the rollback of an account, but there are two other factors to consider.
1) The restoration of your account doesn't have to be done by a rollback since I am working with the example I provided where the "hacked" person is having it looked into by people with connections. This leaves the possibility of having it done properly instead of the usual sloppy job that K2 does.
2) If you go with the resale-and-quit option, you don't care what people say after the duplicates are deleted, and they have no claim on your money because it is either past the dispute window or the financial entity involved is notified that the items are virtual.
Anzac - maybe for someone of an average or lower mental capacity would require research, but if you learn to pay attention and understand what you read, then this scenario wouldn't take more than the 5 minutes needed to type it.
