Default Implementing Old Soundtrack to KO?

    Is this even possible? Having

Knight Online Müzi?i - SoundTrack - Offical Music of Knight - YouTube

for all in game music cause why not? Best soundtrack ever

    KnightOnLine-IntroMusic - YouTube

for the classic music we all listened to for hours trying to log in back ooooh like 6 years ago...

What do you guys think? Is this a legal thing to do? If it is not possible to detect anyway, how do I do it? Im sure a ton of people would like to do this. I hate the 'new' music.

I recently did this, no problems logging into the game or whatever. What you do is go into the snd folder and find bgm_co_town thats the OG KO soundtrack, depending if you're orc or human you would just copy bgm_co_town and rename it to 1_karus, 2_elmolad, 21_moradon, bgm_el_battle, bgm_ka_battle, etc. and replace the originals. I didn't figure out the intro music, I couldn't find the file in the folder. Of course if you wanna change delos, cz, dcz, etc., you would just find those files and copy bgm_co_town and rename it to whatever the cz music file is etc. Make sure you keep the originals though.

Did you happen to find the old battle music?

To clarify, the music when you are hitting a mob. That old epic soundtrack.

There's still a few very old mirrors for old official clients, but it's far easier to use one of the hundreds of old private server clients out there. Anyway, I've uploaded the Snd folder from the official 1.298 client at the moment (which has all the same sounds effects/tracks you describe), though they used to use the MP3/WAV formats -- I think they (exclusively) use OGG now, so you may have to convert them.

I don't know if there's a client version with the old sounds using the new format... if anything, they updated the sounds before they changed the sound format.

Wow man thanks for the old music folder, at first I used some online converters to convert to ogg but they didn't work when I tried to change emc battle music, but then I used AVS audio converter to convert to ogg and that worked perfectly.

    It is possible,
just go into thy Knight Online path,
look for its music file, then thou can replace it with thy favorite song.
Ye guys still playing this game? Thou shall move on
