Inspect players items

This would cause very big problems with people who actually upgraded +9 items. +10 is a little out there, but K2 would just fuck everything up and delete all the really good legit gear instead of getting the dupers. I can see where it would help like if a GM could see that someone with a name ending in _tr had 27 +7-+9 shards in his inventory, but I could see K2 severely fucking that up... just like everything else.

The point is not for GM's to look at the list and auto-ban.. It's to give them a resource that they can skim and look for chars that need to have their logs looked into more closely.. Not only would it help to sort legit from duped items, but gms might be able to figure out dupe methods quicker by looking into the actions of accounts that have ludicrous items.

In an ideal world, this would be great, but in an ideal world, select character would work, and name change scrolls wouldn't be able to be used as a dupe method. The problem is K2 has a lot of corrupt GM's, and I think the people that will suffer mostly from this are those that made their items legitly for their own use because it is much harder, and much more costly to make these items legitly, and those who loose the items that they mde legitly, which with no doubt WILL happen if this is implemented, will be suffering a lot more than those that can turn around on MSN and say "hey, go make me another +3 iron necklace, mine got whiped".

They would already be able to do it anyway an sql query to find duplicate ID's and delete them every maintenance day

E'd say yes but only if someone can tell for sure that the information gotten will be completely accurate.

Once some random guy was waiting just by my side for low FT and told me, hey you got dual MD+8, PP and DD+6/26 FP...I asked him how would he know and told me to have some program to check other's items...but I had dual MD+7, PLATE DD and quest pendant. I'd vote yes for doing this, but what if while checking you see something that is not there and ban the wrong guy?

To an extend, I think we should be able to see Armor/Weapons that are currently equipped.

However, HP and level, no.

If this is same hack I know about.

If it showed uniques, hacking would be on the increase.

How about you can only inspect the gear of your own nation?

That keeps is fair for PVP and still offers the chance to keep it "fair" by exposing those +9/10 items
