Making Olds to normal?

Hi i someone told me i could make old uniques to normal uniques by using nest scraps. is this possible and then how do i do it?

i know you need 1 more item i think you will will 3 olds to attempt 1 new one, talk to the npc, when you get to the chaos generator in mora its to the right of it, or right of the krowaz npc

I've done a bunch of the crappy ones just to try to get a read on it. From what I've seen the odds are really low..I'm guessing about 10% from my experience plus what others have posted on this same topic. Bottom line is go for it with crap ones, but why do it with a rol? On cwest, (and I'd assume most other servers aren't drastically different) is you sell 2 old rols you have the money for a regular one. It takes 3 at a 10% chance to make it regular. Do the math

and doesnt worth to risk specially when the old is high price

100% u cant make money on it... i tryed out 5 times to make old's to normal... got 1 normal... way to expensive to do it that way.

sell those olds and buy normals

but requires too much craps and nest + buying merchants 24/7

no one really bothers with turning olds into new. definately not a path to invest in financially like you can with upgrading.

i believe that those grayed out/darkened olds cant be made into regulars.

i've done it b4 but succes rate is really low
