Maybe cause there would be too much to do with all the xmas events and shit and it would cause too much lag, hence they disable it till after xmas, and they can also do some small fixes to it? Just a guess.

Well, I'm going accross the country for 5 days, so I'm hoping they don't get the christmas patch until after christmas so I dno't have to try to relog on all servers for the santa on a friggin laptop :lol:
