I downloaded the game from mmofury and it worked fine.

Manually patch it to 1709 and then it works again.
this is what my friend did
1. Open up your KnightOnline folder, it's located in one of your Local Disk's(Usally Local Dist(C )
2. Open up Server.ini, after "Files=" press the number "1706", Like this: "Files=1706"
3. It will then begin to download all patches from Patch 1706 to the currently Patch 1741, so when it's finished, open up "Server.ini" again, and after "Files=" press 1705 again,
the simple solution is to use mmofury client, thought it seems weird because its an unknown size file to download, its the only client that works and patches after install. k2 needs to fix that though :S
