    Im gnna check if that happened to my account tomorrow morning. Unseal some items for free. Was not planning to buy gold prem especially for that.

    It serves two purposes, one is to get old characters active again or flag which ones are no longer being played. if the accounts are really dead then they can be purged from the system reducing the size of the database
