When the server is going to restart and you know it, you should run to a bus stop and stay there. Try to get back on as soon as the server restarts. To catch the bus you need lots of mp and hp pots. If it doesn't come to your bus stop, try a different boss stop -- er -- bus stop some other time.

Also keep in mind that busses don't drive on sidewalks so don't expect to catch the bus right at the bus bench. Look around for it. Check each monster and behind each monster. Maybe you can learn something from them.
