if i let every person judge me and i conform to what people want, where is the creativity?

    where is the art?

Yesterday, I recieved my rejection letter from Stanford University, and for that reason I now realize my mistakes. There is no way to amend, you need to take every moment and do well. Stop playing video games, or at least control yourself to perhaps 2 hours per week. You won't gain anything by being good at this game. You won't gain anything by becoming the #1 forum troll on ko4life. You will only lose.
    Time is forever fleeting,
    you cannot catch it.
Oh, do not waste time weeping,
for you will waste your wit.
I'll be unreachable by MSN, this forum, and on any game until next April. Bye.[/b]
Well in my case studies are before other things, and i never failed a shit subject soon i will graduate in Mechanics and maybe i will start another studies like Physical Education & Sports

If that game or others absorb plenty of your free time, u need think about that so serious... because all video-games are dangerous if there isnt a limit as u said But i have a lot of fun with my online-friends in KO every day, even if i log for some minutes

good choice and good luck in studies!

It takes a lot of courage and little bit of fearlessness to be so honest and open in front of all of us - not everyone here could let us all peek into the window that is their real life like that.

    So I respect lutz.

You may not have Stanford now, but take it as a sign that there are bigger and better things out there for you.

We'll be here waiting for you when you're ready to come back, even if all else fails, you'll always have us.

    RL > KO always. -_-

and now everyone should think about their own limits xD

there was a cool topic long time ago, that was about the harmful actions that adicted players had when they play a lot of hours/day in KO or other games... dont remember it exactly but was a good help for that people that doesnt understand the difference between have fun and be a mental sick.

It sucks that you didn't get into the school that you wanted but you can't blame KO for that. You downloaded it, you installed it, you chose to play it. If you can't manage your time between video games and school then you don't deserve to go to an ivy league college. Nothing personal, it's just the truth.

I'd say play as much as you want but keep your grades decently high
But be smart enough to know when to stop playing and when not to

Some people just get to combine gaming with studying, i for example play like what? 9 hours KO a day, except for wednesdays cause thats when I gotta work. I'm doing my masters now in college and i'm doing fine.
