It hugely inflates the download number on the counter.
I have stuff on there.
K2 will have a page they can see downloads and completed downloads.
With a 6 hour wait compared to 30mins from Pando, I expect most of those downloads are uncompleted.
I dont think k2 is stupid enough to close this game while they getting really good money per month.

It's probably same ppls all the time, Exampel, Turk dling KO, Then search for cheats, Gets a virus because he dled something fake.

could be the internet cafes downloading it many times after the exe fie get infected from viruses and then damaged
I read on a MMO site:
Around 11mil+ people play WOW, on of the most popular MMO's.
KO has around 6-8mil by now.
I'm not sure if thats pure active accounts but it seems a good estimate.
