Looking to get back into this game. Worth it?

I played this game on USKO back when it was Knight Empire/ Reign of the Fire Drake expansion era on Xig. Been thinking about starting up again. Just seeing from the commuinities eyes if this game is still fun? and also how much would buying a good level account with decent items run me on average?

for me USKO or steam ko wouldn't be worth it but the private server is pretty good and free /cheap depending on what you wanna do

I returned to SteamKO cypher thinking "this must be better than the past servers" just like many many people come back to this game. It's just rinse and repeat every time. Current business model of opening new servers every 3 months is making the most money. If you are very competitive person, get ready to spend a lot of money just for a game. If you are just casual, it can be fun for a short time at the beginning until people find ways to make +2 jewels and +9 weapons within 3 months time.
