Think of it this way... K2 loses Knight Online, it goes to a company that actually CARES, they fix the bugs and lower the price on some stuff and actually ban KOXPers.

This could be a giant breakthrough for USKO.

Yes i hope it would go like this, but USKO will never get rid of koxpers and i think that is just a fact. Koxpers have been in Knight Online almost since it started as MYKO and they are still in USKO.
I do also hope that the game goes to better company and that they would actualy care about customers and not just the money and be like greedy K2.
We all can see what happends then and.... well we just have to wish for good company and good judge at court to make things right.

Did I ever say they will FIX it? No, just like in WoW people hack. However, WoW has a team that actually genuinely CARES for the game enough to rid the hackers pretty fast. Perhaps a new company might care for the game a bit more, which is all I said.

I hope USKO will be re hosted by good people next tume, if this does go into effect. All these game runners are frickin greedy. If i knew how, i cud easy host a USKO server without my own gms selling stuff for money...

There's more to it. Althought K2 can be blamed for many things, in the end the game content itself can only be blamed on MGame, and the restrictions K2 have been given my MGame are stupid aswell.

If you hosted it, you would eventually fall right into where we are right now, the chinese k0xpers would still auto-create accounts and logg in, bots would still be able to k0xp and althought you may be able to stop them temporary, I doubt you'd be able to monitor all the servers we currently have 24/7, and even less have other GMs willing to do it with some true passion for it after a few months/tops a year.

Basically what I'm saying is, aslong as MGame doesn't give much attention to the english versions of KO, things will never truly change.

<3 ya vicky, but you are not understanding the full scope of what this game makes...there is no reason they cannot afford to police this game properly. They can easily afford 20-30 gm's especially considering the fact they outsource their gm staff. This is my msg in the sheriff section copy/pasted, and i have the right to it cuz it's my own message, I can post it anywhere,


Mgames owns that as well according to the contract-and I said I would stop...lol not now, not in this...

As far as K2 (call them G1 or GamersFirst all you want, their legal corporate name is K2Network, Inc. The fact of the matter going beyond their F2P model is that Knight Online generates HUGE dollars. Enough so that one month most likely covers all of their GM/hosting costs, if not one month then 2 does it (that includes the piddly 100k a year they pay for rights to the game). The financial records regarding this suit are public for all. They have seemed to recovered 1/3 of 1.9+ MILLION dollars in the matter of a few months by refusing royalty payments to mgame. Now lets be legal, K2 is smart and would only incorporate the due royalty payments in figuring recovered losses. There is no exact total of income towards the game made public yet, I do believe that will come soon though, but if they have been able to recover 600k in royalties in the matter of a few months, well omg. That again is just royalties, not what they are making on the bottom line.

Now to my point of under-staffing. We (mods/sheriffs/players) support this game, whether is be financial or just supplemental. We deserve the right to a better game, we KOL players should NOT be subject to finance issues as it is clear this game does NOT struggle financially. Believe me from a business stand-point I understand K2's moves, get better games, get more games, offer them all free. It's really a damn good way to run a gaming company. However, this company not only contradicts itself by claiming it to be "gamersfirst", it also has subjected its own employees to possible legal recourse. I do not for the life of me understand how a company can portray themselves in a shining light but be so dark.

As far as our few gm's we have, I love you guys, and I'm sure you all hate me for my posts as of late, but I just want a better game, that's all. I know none of you have the say in hiring/staffing/placing of staff members, but you are the people placed here to deal with gripes like my own. I deal with the same on a daily basis to an extent in my normal job, but have yet to have a complaint about my side business that has been succeeding tremendously since i started it recently. Care about what you do and you will make a difference.

I just hope that in the end of all this legal mumbo-jumbo we players do not get f'd in the a'
