Mgame Is Sueing K2 Network

It sure as hell aint over indeed, and if MGame does get USKO down, say good bye to everything you have. What MGame offers is only the game itself, it's to much of a hassle to get a new host to host old shit when they'll probably want the newest, not the oldest and crappiest version around (+- EUKO).

MGame has never shown any kind of courtesy against europe players in the past, I wouldn't hold my breath for them to start now.

I think this will be a very messy court case and I can see it bankrupting K2 very easily. The most likely turn of events would be K2 being forced to sell their rights to USKO to another company that would be approved by acreditors or the court.

The servers hold a great value to any on line hosting company and I think it is most likely that ownership will change and we may be compensated by the new owners and given fresh accounts on newly names servers or something like that.

From my own knowledge of this type of stuff in UK courts , it could be a pretty long wait for all of this to finally happen. K2's normal attitude is hit and run , so I would expect there to be a zillion crazy promotions going on to maximise revenue ( let's face it , they are going to fucking need it ).

Either way , this looks like the true first steps to the end of K2 and KO ( unless an out of court agreement is made ).

It would be a dumb move for Mgame, provided that they have the right to claim the contractual breach by K2, to "reset" the servers, since the customer database is the real value of this game.

If something will happen and the game will be hosted by a different company, I hardly can believe they will start new servers, since they likely will loose 3/4 of the actual paying customers.
