Well, i guess you have to be turkish to get it passed +6. it may sound weird, but it's true >_<

I had like 15 pieces of +7chitins ready to go +8 and since i wanted my dagger to go +7 so bad, I upgraded ALL the chitins to +8 first, they ALL broke right after i tried my dagger +trina to +7 and it also broke.

I think you should try and upgrade it to +7 on server restart.

I'd suppose the basis for the "breaks" theory is one of two things.

1) that the success rate goes up for successive breaks because the anvil is preset to "allow" a certain number of upgrades to level X per hour, and the more stuff you break the higher the success rate will be

2) the tired old "if I flip a coin 20 times and get heads I'll be almost certain to get tails next time"

Ok, dealing with (1), I guess it's possible to program something like that, but can anyone really see something that complicated coming out of MGAME/K2? Really, a piece of code like that from them would guarantee the buggiest anvil imaginable, and we'd all be wearing +10 shell and shooting +10 IB. A poor player would be wearing +10 chitin and shooting a +10 hornx (140 AP, and I'll trade all my IB's and CB's and shards for it right now, even up).

For (2), GET REAL, the chance of tails is 50% each and every time. Yes, the odds of getting such a long SEQUENCE is very high, but each individual flip in the sequence is exactly 50% (assuming a fair toss and a fair coin and no cheats).

indeed its all luck.. i burnt mine going to +7, but i also made my raptor +8 back in the day.

Ide just suggest put the trina, put the BUS, and whenever u feel comfortable, press OK. its as simple as that.

Unless ofcs u believe in the 'HERE THEE ANVIL I SACRIFICE THESE NOOBY ITEMS FOR THEE TO SUCCEED MY SWORD TO +7' method, in which case burn the FPs if u think itll make u feel more comfortable =]

its ALL about luck, u can try with 1 trina to +8 and success
u can try with 8 trinas and fail all in a row (really happened to me)
or make 3/4 md+8 in a row...

that means ladies and gentlemen that this fucking anvil its LUCKK

and yesterday was burning some shits for upgrade a shard, plop 1st shit goes to +8
