so how does that help? Since if you have your steam guard you need someones email to access his account and it's pretty much the same with this new security, you still need code from email to join the game. From what I can see it just screwed up ppl that used to share accounts. Unless your point was to let ppl verify connection 3 times each day so noone else can log the account for 24hours which I doubt.

I already addressed lord kurian about this issue.
I think its really stupid.
It doesn't improve our game play anyway. And Steam guard is a lot better than any NTT security systems so far.
I don't really see a point for this kind of locator. There are more pressing matters that they should address. But classical NTTgames, they do nothing on those matters. Instead they focus on something that makes 90% peoples gameplay less pleasant and make us focus on something that we don't really need.
At least make this kind of "security" optional if you want to implement it.

I think about 90% people have sharers or someone who has their info incase they are needed.
Now that every new connection needs steam authentication it also needs a fucking approval trough NTT site. That is not okay!
Granted this is great compared what K2 did (psst, they didn't do shit).

And now for those who are going to ask what are these more pressing matters that should be addressed.
I will bring some examples.
KOXP is still an issue. Yes GMs are active and ban them on daily base. But improved anti-cheat system would be great.
War maps bugged (Boat map) monument capture doesn't even matter.
Buggest quests. An good example is Chain quest. It just doesn't work from some points.
On Hellsgarem example, nation balance is a problem.

Not only sharer will be affected by this issue.

For dynamic ip users. Your went to sleep, you wake up = dc and verification needed.

Verified, the system will dc u and ask u to verify again.

Ok now i had fun, then i got ONE fucking dc from my ISP.

And i am out for 24 hours.

Stupidest system if you ask me, if they really want to continue with this system they should make at least 7-8 tries per day.

Even that it would be a lot of hassle to login steam - back to ntt, check email and type the fucking captcha.

We are player and we don't deal with such stupid nonsense.

So ntt dev if you are reading this. Disable that stupid new security system.

steam ko access system is much better since its log the computer name and not the ip , since this new system added alot of people having a problems..
the idea was good the way they created that is limited.

It sucks for people like myself that have two computers at home (desktop and laptop) Not only does it take extra time and headache to log off one and into the other but now i can only switch between the two computers 3 times daily.. lame.
