Personally for me, I don't mind the new forums so far.

As for skins, icons/images/font/colors, all that can easily be modified.

I'm sure Devile will do some work on that once he has some time.

its kinda strange to see title "gamers4life.com" but its up to u guys. i think basicly it was a good move since more and more ppl leavin ko but want to keep in touche with this forum. ko is getting a part of this forum now and not the only reason to visit this forum. fix post count or give me a VIP title and i am fine

bad part is theres a limit of how many posts by a user u can search...

for example, it can only show 20 pages of posts by me

Mind explaining why would u need more than 500 search results. Nice thing about vBulletin is we can configure pretty much ANY value. We can make it 50 results per page and max of 5000 so u have 100 pages to waste your time, where u wont be checking more than 10 prolly. Or make it even higher, but I don't see a point to this.

but overall, i dont really see what the problem was with the old forum, no1 complained about it, nor did any1 think they needed better, but if this format is easier (and maybe cheaper, no idea), then we will just have 2 get use to it ,

Dont really like the new board, can't post your Char/Server anymore, smileys suck, and all the letters in my username are all lowercase, little help pls.

Char/Server are custom profile fields we can easily add. As said PLENTY of times, we are working on adding stuff and bug fixing. Trying to fix the most important things first and then we will go to the cosmetic and less important stuff. I think getting the forum back online was more important than having smilies and other cosmetic stuff working.

That's part of some of the new things we have to minimize scamming on the market sections. U need to be a Regular Member to post new topics in the Market Sections. We are adding a Trading Tool for trading scores and feedback reviews and we have other tools to detect multiple accounts.

For some of u is easy to whine and bitch about this upgrade cause now u dont have a smile, but the bottom line is, the old forum sucked balls in terms of control, stability and security. Maybe u dont give a fuck about that, but guess what, someone needs to run the forum and if that someone can't run it cause its too difficult to run and insecure, eventually there will be no forum. This change was to avoid that and secure a future for this forum.

There are priorities right now and once the most important stuff is done, we will add smilies, dark theme (actually u will vote for one so u dont bitch about the colors) and any other cosmetic things u want (if its possible). There's FEEDBACK section on the forum, USE it. There's a REPORT POST button on every post, USE it.

Be helpful instead of just stay there and cry about IPB that was falling apart from the inside.
