It will be a moot point if EU players get banned without warning like originally happened to SEA region players. Personally I would be moving my items to a newly created US based account so someone can access them if proxies/vpns are locked out. But that's just me and this should not be considered as official advice

I was kidding. Three servers and 10 GMs on EU, while USKO has like 17 servers with at least 1 subserver and only 3 US based GMs-8 overseas.

Ares, Diez, Xigenon, Cypher, and Cwest will be the hardest hit because they have the highest number of English speaking players/clans.

This is going to destroy most of the English clans on the older servers. Cwest will fare a little better since a huge part of their english speaking base is from South America

What sucks is that usko isnt famous for helping the new players.

So existing player base would decline drastically and over time the decline would continue.

I wonder if k2 would finally decide to merge some of the older servers

That is always a possibility, but they won't comment other than an occasional off the record remark from Athenrye.

No. There will be mutual IP bans. G1 will ban european IPs and the EUKO host will ban american, asian and turkish IPs.
