non-staffed mages?

You dont even have to stat dex, I had a dagger in xig that I could carry with a shield, it was +4/10 MP absorp. Though, you would only get mana back while using aoe (burst, nova, inferno).

About non staffed mages, 2 tooths dont work nor does a HB work. You will only deal the dmg of the amount of MP points you statted.

CS/SS is always nice to pk with, great support for the party, but damn hard to get (CS +0)[/b]

you sure about it doesnt work ? becouse (flame/imir/shio/felankor rings) boosts your dmg ?

so why 2 tooths would not work ?

never said i did im just the one that made it popular on diez...i remember the first week i stated for cs+lycaon hammer...next week i started seeing turk makes all over the place using shields with hammers -_- even saw greattouch trying hammer+dotl lol :lol:
and no...dont u remember the staff bug at beginning of KE? basicly every mage was screwed and we all tried weps with our element on it lol it didnt work -_- so basicly every mage went for small shields +1 reduced and the beginner sword reduced and ran around with those[/b]

Well, You never influenced me while I was on my mage. Cause it's basically common sence. If you can use a shield, Why not? and if the shield is worth it I don't see a problem with putting a little extra points to use it. I used a dd, spear, and axe shields ( I didn't have a CS) and I had a lobohammer +0...

i doubt u ever had a mage with that "so called lobo hammer+6 and ss+0" built as u replied befor, since u were reffering to its MP absorb, coz if u actually had that built, u woulda known its the lycaon hammer and not lobo which has MP absorb, unless ur talking about +0 hammers, but whatever.

:lol: HAHAHAHAHA XD SORRY MR RETARD!! But your WRONG... I had Lobo Hammer +6 and SS+0. I was following _Tsounami_'s (ares) build, he had Lobo Hammer +7 and Cs+? (he wouldn't tell me) He would use them for EW parties only and I always asked why the hammer aswell? He said so I don't have to use mana pots ^_^

why not just get a small dd shield and a small dagger with 10 mp absorb.. i only had to go to 61 str for the dd shield/ spear shields (can use a SS and CS, also).. the small dagger took no more dex and i never used a mana pot from level 63-65 while exping. Makes more sense to me -.-
