im installing the patch and it says , Knight online is not installed on youre computer , please install the full game client...lol :lol:

u must modify registry files

i instaled and patched KO at another folder, then changed path @ registries and exported to *.reg files all i found about KO and NoahSystem there

patched to 1453 and im fine

(..then sent to cousin who had 3GB limit on downloads and told him to edit path to his KO folder after importing those *.reg files..

so i have *zip file with necessary registry values )

well in my registry no path for the game . My ComputerHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareKnight Online
--> empty, no path.

i uninstalled and re-installing now hoping the patch will work..

If ppl are still having this problem let me know - I sorted in a much simpler way (again editing the registry but very easily).

Just run Regedit go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREKnight Online and add 3 new strings with the following

Name ----------- Value Data

EXE ----------- KnightOnline
PATH ------------ xxxxxx (where your install is like C:KnightOnline
SERVICE ---------- Knight Online

I am not sure whether the last one is need :-)
