Private servers dont come up with stuff like that
its 100% JPKO Beta test server.

Not quite sure what that thing is but a pretty good assumption would be the so called " Pet " system every1 was talking about.
Another theory is it's related to the Eggs that was released with ROFD but then got disabled

yes its one of the pets and they fit in the 'shoulder' slot space on your character

and yes they hatch from the eggs but K2 disabled them

Ah, alright, I didn't hear anything about JpKO Beta Test Servers... So I wouldn't know :P

I remember the pet system shit though, if you are level 10 in USKO they already have the quest in the quest book but you can't do it cause the NPC doesn't have it selectable

and yeah that shoulder slot thing is meant to be a cage/pet box, it was brought up quite a long time ago... cant remember what it was the pets do exactly, but i do remember something about being able to access your INN's through them
