MEDALS will lower all prices?

so i saw a bunch of people traded their np for items and i am pretty sure thats a whole new lot of items going right through the market.. the only question now is, will they lower the market?

If it is easy to get uniques or lots of people have them price will go down.
If it is getting harder to get specific uniques price will go up
