Ok guys this has been annoying me for some time. when you sell. say 1 arrow to "MR_BIG" it doesn't say what it is ment to. it comes out in symbols. this annoys me cause i might have lots of things sold. and i want to know when i come back if i stuffed up a price. i noticed that is was a patch that when downloaded stuffs this up. im not sure if k2 ment for it to happen. but i have found out what the file is to fix the problem.

1) Make sure knight is closed.

2) Copy the file in merchant_fix.zip into your knightonlinedata folder overwriting the old one.

3) Play the game and enjoy

if you guys don't trust this file feel free to virus scan it. it was copied from 1299 patch and works fine on heaps of my friends computer.


if you guys don't trust my file enough. this is the method i used

1) you could just uninstall knight.

2) delete all files in your folder.

3) reinstall knight but don't patch it.

4) copy Texts_us.tbl from knightonlinedata and put it somewhere safe.

5) download all the patches.

6) then copy the safe file Texts_us.tbl back into knightonlinedata

7) run and enjoy

his mathood is for real but i dont know if the file is legit or not id say dont risk it.
my friend did this mathood and it worked for him (he didnt go by this post but same basic idea)

uhhh i'm not trying to scam u guys, i downloaded it and putted it in my ko/data folder and i sold a pot for 1 coin so i culd see if it would work AND IT DOES

so if u dont trust it FINE, let ur virusscanner run over it :blink:

the problem isn't in the matter of it working or not.

the problem is in the fact that files like these should always be confirmed by trusted people to be non-keylogger/virus containing.

no one is trying to insult you by this, it's just safety.

download 13.05 patch open this zip file and copy TEXT_US.tbl to Knightonline/data

after that u will see who buy items from u :P its works only with one little bug.. if u are nonpremium. u dont see mesage what say to u "u are nonpremium"... or somethink like that...

Lot easier to simply dl the "texts_us" w/e file and copy it over the existing one.
Only problem is you won't see the "prem blablabla" messages but who need those anyway :|
