From what I understand if you hold a 1 handed club you're considered an int priest and your ap is calculated through int. If you hold a 2 handed weapon, i.e hb ii, you're considered a bp and your ap is calculated through str. So this shouldn't effect regular bps and will just give traditional int priest more ap. Right?

but the question remains: who would stay FP / paper bp with gimped stats when you can just go full int and hit a little less (i assume) while being 200x tankier

long story short: lets make melee classes whose only purpose is to hit stuff obsolete by adding a new melee class that can do everything at once while still being useful for anything other than just attacking.

I see your point. Has anyone tried pking as a krowaz bp yet? I'd like to know how much damage they're able to spam now.

It isn't in the patch notes but priest AP is now calculated off intelligence instead of strength with the patch that fixed upgrading priest weapons

You can go either way as priest now. If you are using a 2 handed weapon AP is based on str. If you equip a 1 handed priest weapon the AP calculation switches to int
