in korea, everyone is korean.
the premise of knight online is loosely based off of the fantasy medieval characters of the tolkien type.

to the local koreans/asians it would seem a bit sordid and unauthentic to have asians or black people running around in the game. so i think when the game was first written, this wasnt a concern. the exotic appeal of white people in the realm of knights is the reality of it.

afterall, how ridiculous is it to watch martial arts movies with steven seagal or jean claude van damme? as opposed to the likes of bruce lee, jackie chan and jet li?
theres a considerable and obvious difference. audiences in the states demand the same racial attention as our overseas counterparts demand.
