is anyone having character problems on ares?

i have 2 comps in front of me right now and im trying to sign on my rogue and my gf's mage, and every time it takes several minutes to show the character.. and it either ends up being some other character that isnt mine, a karus character, or karus settings (when i am human). one time it even showed a choose nation screen. wtf is going on. and i keep getting disconnected as well. anyone else?

type CMD in run, start menu, then type ipconfig/flushdns should stop , servers down for me atm

Yeah, ive got the same prob, tho the servers are down atm (again zzz)
