item rental seems like a pretty cool feature...
itd be awesome to rent out some gear before putting down the coin in actually buying it...
what would be pimp is if K2 were to come up with item rental AND a lay away plan...

imagine buying gear from other players on credit? and working to pay it off..and if you fail to pay it off they charge you XP and take your shit away....

actually rent time is 6 - 12 - 24 hours... at the price u want to set it

but knowing k2 .. if they ever put this scroll... it will be on PUS like always :S
