Returning player

I was wondering if this game worth giving another chance.
I stopped playing KO about 4 years ago, back then the game was full of cheaters, exploiters, scamers, etc.

I would like to know if situation improved since I left.

well, I just love the pvp and the market system in this game, no other game offers u this kind of experience.

Atm im playing Age of Conan, it does have an uber combat system and graphics, but everything else sux. For example, u can`t sell/trade gear, u can`t upgrade items, etc.

Well the hackers are virtually non-existent in ardream but instead have been replaced by mega babashoppers with very few just decent geared ppl.

The market is still the same but with very few new ppl playing so its different.

Pretty much its just the old players with very few noobs.

be glad u were able to quit but dont shoot down every guy who stills believe this game is decent, or atleast tries to :d

I was thinking more of starting from zer0 on a new server (my old friends from xigenon left), I love playing the market, I can gear myself in a few months.
Back then when I left, ppl used some kind of programs to add gold in game, this pretty much fucked up the market.
I can live with babashoppers or koxp-ers, but what I want to find out is if ppl can still use 3rd party tools to add gold in game or dupe items.

I don't believe there is a hack to add gold or dupe items, koxp-ers just do lots of farming.

BTW the market is much harder to play for the past year as hackers haven't been flooding the market with coins so prices of everything have plummeted WAY lower. +8 rappy, +8 IB, +9 cleavers, Iron Belts are all on market. DD and other weapon defence isn't dropping anymore so that is the only thing that is just about "off" market.

apparently leaving your character in "merchant mode" is fun now

well, it was for some people o_o but i mean, i would love to have an auction house like wow's in ko.

i hated using merchant... and anvil, and anything involving gambling
