Seal/Unseal 8 Digit

Greetings Knights,

Please be aware that the Security code feature for will be added during the Tuesday’s maintenance (December 2). This code will be used to log into the game and will be the Seal/Unseal code. We request the users to login to MyKol and use this feature to continue to login to the game.
(For those of you who have accounts you don't remember your account information (email/sqa), customer service will temporarily be making changes to all accounts no matter your premium status.)

Update-

We request the users not to use 0 at first or at the end of the code. We are currently having an issue with this since the code is not updating properly in the below given scenario.

Description of the issue – If Player A types in 01234567 as the security code, it is currently getting updated as 1234567 and when the Player A types in 12345670 it is updated as 1234567 BUT using 0 in-between the code such as 12345067 does not have any issues.

We are currently looking into this issue and should have it fixed before Tuesday, we request the users who have already got their security code with a 0 in the start or at the end to change/update the same by logging into MyKOL.

im glad i stopped playing as K2 is so dumb my username is too long and includes a hyphen, and doesnt work with G1/mykol so i cant change the pass manually or infact do anything.

although just trying this it did let me add a seal number.

I try to enter an 8-digit code and when I press "confirm" it kicks me from the webpage. WTF?

they having some problem with 0 at start and end of digit code , i hope they test there new login system well before fully applying it :/ they always rush to launching new things without fully fixing there defects i hope they dont screw something here as its gonna be login thing . fingers cross.

I love how K2 thinks this will prevent people from getting hacked and keylogged. If they make the seal PW the same as ur login... If ur sealing and unsealing that would just give the hacker your login pw keypad, and the seal PW.. Awesome idea K2! I rather have 2 different informations. So they will never know my keypad, but possibly know my seal pw.

I heard plenty of stories of people just losing power up store items and other junk but not their sealed items. Now they will truely be fucked by keyloggers.

Except you have to press the numbers with your mouse. So unless you give it out or actually type the 8 digit code with keyboard, it's harder and almost impossible to get keylogged since your not pressing any keys.
Also, the numbers show up in a random order.

if u mouse click they can steal from your catch...as a real hacker might do...
keyloggers...
all that stuff...
no matter what ko does people can bypass...
whats more secure or not will not make much of a differance.
if people want ya items bad enough they will get them.

Obviously you fail to realize if u seal or unseal ur items, ur pressing ur keys. Meaning you just gave out ur security mouse pad login bullshit. Now they can login and take all ur shit.

If they made 2 seperate codes where ur keypad was COMPLETELY different from anything ur using ingame, then that will be a more reliable security system.

Im sure they intend to impliment this feature because of the ammount of players getting hacked at internet cafe. Keyloggers are more common than anything else, and if they put this feature in, the only time ull get keylogged is if u use ur seal information at the cafe or download hacks at ur home. So stop cheating and u wont get hacked :]

If you play at a internet lan cafe, to avoid getting keylogged + hacked. You NEVER login to ur KOL, u have capital letters in your password. You never use ur seal PW, after this patch has been implimented. Thats all u can hope for.
