I've just done a trace route of login.knightonlineworld.com and the IP address is 64.20.33.4 :S

Try:

nslookup login.knightonlineworld.com

and u will see all the IPs associated to that name. It will randomly point u to any of those via a "round robin" balancing. Told K2 to add a LOAD BALANCER so there's a real balance between the login servers and users actually get served by the one that has less load, instead of just randomly. U can even end up pointing to a login server that is down and u wouldnt be able to play at all. A real load balancer fixes this situation and no matter how many are down, u can still connect as long as 1 is up.

But I'm sure K2 knows a lot more about IT than me

PD: I only see 1 IP as login server now: 207.38.30.10. Not sure if they screwed the DNS, they reduced the number of logins or they finally added a load balancer.
