used to play with maggy and her brother. I was Hardcorekillah on other servers. I was in undez a long time ago. I forgot which server because it was a few. You had a mirage +9 and got a solo drop from ultima. That server. I also played with jeremiah and his clan. I was in that clan you were in on oly with the mario mushroom. It's not the game we miss, it's being young again and have a life without responsibilities, being healthy, having still all your family, friends, going to school.
For most of us the Knight Online addiction we had represents that time
no no no i actually just miss the virginity of knight online. How it used to be. How a mirage dagger +7 was heavily desired. I miss the original game i started playing. Knight online isn't even knight online anymore.
Well, once fucked then its fucked.
I know it really sucks man. Im really into Old school runescape and i get similar feels as i did when i started playing knight online. I just wish they would launch a 70 cap server and make it alot harder than it was back in the day to match the efficiency of the gamers today.
OSRS is absolutely nothing like RuneScape was. I played when OSRS originally launched and it was cool for like a month for the nostalgia, but since then they've added so many QoL features that the game feels nothing like what it was back in the day. It's impossible to remove your game knowledge, which means that you can never go back to being a total noob and exploring a game world for the first time. Once you know what are the best things to do and what is efficient, doing something you might enjoy is not a priority, but efficiency is. Then, once people abuse mechanics that were left unchecked in the original version, those mechanics get nerfed (clockwork mice for example) and then the game already looses some of the nostalgia. OSRS still is an amazing MMORPG tho. It's probably my favorite of all time, just because of the sheer size and amount of activities to do in the game.
Yeah, I love OSRS. I dedicated this entire last month to Tob and Chambers. Its actually become a great source of income since im layed off from work. I agree though. It is nothing like how it used to be, Yet i think its more fun as it is today. Alot more bosses and fun things to do with the clans, Corp parties etc. Happy to see that somebody else from the knight online community enjoys is as well
Babashoppers fucked up this game. That's the end of the story. If this was a subscription based game with no PUS store it would be epic. If a +8 item was still good after a year in a server the game would still be playable.
