anyways he wrote a 1310 emulator, then made the emulator support 1534 client then 1886 etc.. Yeh he used codes from the source code that was leaked from the old files forgot version.

Knew it was something like that, the source code was/is a great starting point. Haven't really been following private KO dev world much since I gave it all up.

Indeed, but a good starting point is to make it just as the game is and even fix the flaws that do exist, after that it's his choice if he wants to make it very different from how KO is or if he wants to go ahead and work his way through the "expansions" to get to the latest version.
