Special maintenance: 12:30pm

Hi everyone. I know I’m supposed to be in retirement these days, but I wanted to take a moment and explain the purpose behind today’s special maintenance, and how it’s been resolved.

As you all know, recently there was an issue with merchant hacking. Some unsavory characters were able to exercise advanced hacking methods to rob good, legit players of their hard earned items by purchasing them from player merchants at a fraction of their cost.

Thanks to a quick response from the developer, this is now no longer possible. A fix has been instituted to prevent this from ever happening again. In addition, all merchant hack trades were logged.

What does this mean? A few things. First and foremost, all trades performed involving the merchant hack are being reversed regardless of whether or not you’ve sent a CS ticket or if you have premium or not. You will receive your missing items via in-game mail. Secondly, the perpetrators of all such actions were logged as well, and all of their accounts have been banned accordingly.

anyone know why bdw is disabled?

oh.....if he did lie about getting hacked thats just lame... but the king britney on ares server keeps saying its not fixed that 4 of her turkish friends i guese had it happen to them after maintance...
this othwer dude insanexorc said the dude that did it too him before maintance got banned....and he never got his item back..
maybe he will in the future...
it probably happened to alot of people..only time will tell.

Sound more like a typo then the merchant hack

There is alot of nice things in merch's on Diez noone cryin yet..

I would like to say, everyone assumed wrong. K2 came up with an outstanding solution.. No rollback and everyone got they're shit back.. I'm sure ppl will still bitch about something, but I think K2 proved how much has changed with this episode..
