    Well yeah, but probability is almost philosophical due to it's nature. It depends on which theory you support in the end.

    I think +5 to +11rev is very hard but i think you have more chance ...

    After reading all the thread, i still wonder in % not counting the noahs u spent.
    Which one give you the best % to upgrade an items to +9

    mathematically spoken you have a probability of 1,5625% to succeed from +5 rev to +11 rev, implying there are no other factors (for instance a buggy code) influencing the upgrade chance.

    Burning items does in fact effect the upgrade chances regardless what people are saying.

    If chances are 50%, the system is set that after 100 upgrades it will be 50/50.

    That's why on many server [talking about privates] which using same upgrade standards as official, you can see that at 85% upgrade rate you are going to suceed 15 in a row, and than fail 4 in a row because system is using you to make the percents at 85%.


    That's why when making a high + item, you can increase your chances, by having more item than the system of % can actually burn for you.
    If chance to +9 is 10%, it means that 1 out of 10 should suceed, and yes it is true, but only at 100 items.
    So if at 10% chances, you have 14 items to upgrade, you are 95% going to suceed one, unless someone stealing your upgrades from the back.

    If anvil is empty, fresh from restart and you have 100 items at +8 with 10% chance you will make 10x +9.

    But yeah burning middle class, low class, means nothing to the actual upgrade of high class item on it's own %.

    If you want to be really specific about improving your items, then go with tears and start climbing that ladder towards reb +11.
    This way you will improve your weapon after each successful ugprade instead of staying on flat +8.
