KO Patches and autoupdating

Well I've been convinced to babysit my friends char (mainly so someone xps him to 71 and beyond :P) however the connection I'm on seems to have FTPs blocked meaning that it wont auto-update, it just errors every time.

So, does anyone have any idea how I can update my KO to the latest version (the link on the site still gives me one that seems to error connecting to download.knightonlineworld.com).

I have same problem...and...U need to have one thing that this game make awesome: friends!

Well...if u have in Your town (in real life ofc) some friend who also play KO(KE), and have working version of game, do next:

Go to him, and write complete Knight Online directory to DVD. Copy to Your computer, and...enjoy in game.


It works for me, and I hope it will work for U.

just try a tunnel client..like "yourfreedom" or "http tunnel"

where ? www.google.com

it just forwards your local ports/request on the remote server, so for your network firewall it will just look like a standard http connection

the only thing is that it will be a little slow (btw only reason is because those are free software's, but you can install for e.g an open ssh server on a "full open" internet connection, and make an ssh tunnel to this server.. the advantage is that is much more secure and you can profit from the speed of this connection)

i've just retryed them 1 by 1 all of them and they r working ><

dunno if soemthing has be done with filefront site itself before :/
