It is about being thankful in general. Its a time to just sit back and spend time with your loved ones and remember what life is about...friends and family. Its a time to realize that YOU dont have it all that bad and that YOU are not the most important thing in the world. im not bagging on anyone or being liberal, but we stole the damn natives land, you cant counter that arguement, its impossible, and we celebrate it.
dont get me wrong i love my country, and i love thanksgiving, i love all the holidays i get to celebrate in this wonderful country, but you cannot deny the fact WE STOLE THIS LAND, and now celebrate stealing it, and if me saying that "ruins your holiday" then your way to uptight.

the holiday WAS MADE TO GIVE THANKS FOR FAMILY AND FRIENDS AND WHATEVER ELSE YOU ARE THANKFUL FOR, not to say hey we killed people and took their land. Whether they did or not is inconsequential and it SURE AS HELL ISNT what we celebrate. Like I said, if you chose to celebrate that, go for it.
