no not hard, just have to spend a lot of time farming for +9's or buy the +9's, 10's off the market. Then you just take them to the anvil and compound. But it does take 81 +9's minimum, some of the +9's could possibly blow up, but once you get to +10 it's 100% success up to 16/3.
