Trade is back. But it is not 100% over. ED gem drops are not 100% safe to trade.
From Athenrye ask GM thread. Not all the 4600 illegal items bugged by 1200 accounts are yet processed.

would you say it is safe to buy items that are gained from gems or to hold off a bit more.
because i still see some people trying to sell full merchant of lillime and howling roosters and other dungeon uniques, granted a lot has been deleted some might still be floating around and they think they can dump it before it gets deleted.
It is best to err on the side of caution. If you have any doubt in your mind about a person or the item they're selling, in any circumstance at all, it's best to trust that instinct and not make the purchase. We are currently in the midst of deleting several thousand illegally generated items from the game, so it would be best not to make any purchases of uniques for the time being. We will be making announcements when we finish searches and deletions. For the time being, here are some popularly abused items you should avoid purchasing in the market:
