i noticed that they have prety high AP on them, but only 35 elemental at +6?
what is soo great about them?

The low INT requirement means you have more points to put into MP / HP -_-

My DCZ mage is testing out a Crystal +8 build at the moment. It's working pretty well, but I think it'd be better as fire rather than the Ice build I am now.

Crystal +8/15 Gloves/Boots/Robe
Crystal Gob Pads
Crystal 25DD Helm (still need this only got 10DD at the moment)
Garp +1 Reversed (121 AP, 40 Ice, 22 Int, 32 Glac Resist)

its made so you put alot of point in str and then combo with fire blade

Dont forgot that Garp , Elyseum & co. dont give only 10 elemental damage ( at +1 ) but also give 10 int & resistence .

Ex Garp+1 10 ICE Damage + 10 INT + 20 Resist.ICE
