I know that people made tons & tons of topics like this one about almost every server...
Well my story is long and im too lazy to explain everything here anyway i just want share my exsperience and the good job that i and few friends did..
We in Manes server had a really big problem when a unknow clan ( KV) with unknow levels 80 came out with super geared chars..
In Manes we had about 2 mirage dagger+9, 1 shard+9 and only 1 shell+9 helmet but only after 1 month with this clan in the server our list of "crazy items" sky roked... Full sets of shell+9 came out as sets and in 1 day, crazy weapons such hell breaker +9 avedon+9 came out from nothing and equipped by the same players in shell set +9...
something wrong was going on... how was possible ? i admit that i start think that was some kind of GM corruption or a big bug-abusing on the anvil...
Me and my old clan EuroStar started a investigation, we could not accept all this, there was something to stop...
I tried be a fake buyer ( usd attract) for know more info about these guys... If they can make shells+9 and weapons+9 then they must have some kind of business, i think everyone would do it right ? make tons of real money by selling pixel ...
Well yes, there was a big business under this activity... want a number ? 200.000 usd about in the 2008
After 2 months of research we found finally a name, Vahap is the name of the guy that is involved in all this story...
He has a brother and 1 team of people that works together for hobby... they do research about games and internet exploit, they also own a website and their business is really big... Some of these guy is working also in the h.e.a.v.e.n f.i.r.e team, yes the macro boot program.
I sent tons and tons of tickets to K2 for tell them that there was a big problem but they as always never listen me and just closed them..
I have also talked with GM more then 1 times but again as always most of them are too lazy for do some works so they prefer say everytime "we are working on this issue" till you lose your patience and stop pm them... because works so right ?
A light when i talked the first time with Linus, he tried help... Then again i talked with korlash, a manes GM and the light was always a bigger..
Asking yourself why this time ? easy, there is a key word = USD
I have made a list with inside all the reasons about k2 that will keep lose money if they do not fix this problem... guess ? this time they listen me
So we started a new work group
After only 2 weeks we found the source of the problem... Now i cannot share here the method that he used for make items anyway we found it through the trades logs.
These chars has been banned together Vahap IP, ok he can use a proxy but the problem is anyway fixed because by banning these chars he cant "create" items as before and he cant create new chars that allow him this... I know if u dont know the method is hard to understand but believe me that he cannot make crazy items anymore...
Vahap come from Cypher where he owned the clan Heaven.... The GM psyk1k account has been hacked by this guy and his team time ago but this problem was fixed at that time, he had anyway the possibility to spawn free boss for friends for enought time to make his clan strong.
Well im happy, i quit this game but i gave to my old Manes friend a gift, their problem is now fixed.
They will not see anymore the crazy items list in KOK increase everyday but from now only some lucky man at the anvil will increase it
There is only a bad thing, the current items in game will keep stay and the chars will not be banned...
Only the chars with impossible items such exc dragon set +9 and new weapons +9 has been banned and their items deleted...
Few of the most geared chars anyway should lose in some time some of their items... There is still a problem and we are still working on it, the bank chars and vahap had many bank chars... lvl 1 with Inn full of +9 i guess... well we try caught this char now and ban them.
So my thx goes to all my friend that help me in this story, and to the GM korlash...
We this time won
Hope this will bring the attention of some other player that want a fair server and that will start his own "war".
If u know how to move you can do almost everything, many people told me that we could not win, well believe me or not we this time won!
