But this isn't a topic about religion, so don't even fucking go there, or further then what's it's been taken too now anyway.

War? Genocide? You'll find people (will and have) kill(ed) other people over pettier things - ofcourse something that has the potential to be as influential as religion would find a role in the things you've mentioned. Skin colour, heirachy, appearance - what about these? Anything that serves a social function can be used to broaden disparities between people. Do you propose we remove anything and everything of social or anthropological distinction, and form some egalatarian world of happy-clappers and kumbaya chanters? Don't get me wrong kumbaya is a nifty tune, but to be so unrealistic in your outlook of the world is weaksauce.

Delusional people? Those people had some huge deficits in their life to begin with. The same weaknesses as people who can't handle their drugs in a recreational manner and end up as amphetamine fiends. Drug's aren't to blame, even the harshest of pyschoactives can serve a function when used properly. This is similar to religion, which can have less obvious benefits when used as prescribed, but far more substantial negative and noticable effects when used incorrectly. It's the weak-willed people who feel inadeqaute and need something to succumb to, that alot of people often stereotype to misrepresent flaws in world religions. You'd be surprised at how many people who are legitly delusional even without such agencies.

Don't get me wrong; evangelicism is just as annoying as teenage forum athiests and muslims who can be infuriated by the disrespect of someone they do not actually hold any respect for to begin with. Best thing to do is let religious folks, and non-religious folks do as they please; no need for disrepute. I don't follow any particular religion (I like bits and pieces hidden behind the bullshitery in many religions) - I'm simply argueing the other, often misrepresented, side of the argument; maybe provoking some thought in those of you who don't take the initiative to do so when forming personal opinions.
