I'm considering doing the same thing...getting tons of +8 chitins and rappys/shells and going for +9s...but then again...I'm not as rich as you (school loans suck)
Do what you want to each his own. However being a good stewart of everything we are given comes first. 600$ maybe nothing to you but it is not being a good stewart.
If you waste just a little money like this what else do you waste and in how much more quantities.
Oh and for the record its not that you spent the money to use in a hobby, (same could be said for paintball, etc) but the fact you spent it just to see what would happen is where the ??? comes in.
