You're not having the same issue, OP is because of him not having 50 posts, yours is because your account is likely "inactive" if it hasnt been touched in a very long time seeing as how you're from 2006 so you'll have to have a mod / admin make you active again? i think that's how it works.

The reason is twofold. First of all it's a countermeasure against scammers. It makes it harder for scammers to create new accounts to scam people with. It also gives the moderation team a chance of catching suspicious users or scammers bypassing bans. Second of all, it kind of incentivizes community behavior. Basically you make contact with the people you're trading with. Although, it should be obvious for older users to not trust users with a low post count. All in all, it's mostly to create a barrier to protect users from some scammers.

I guess a third reason would be that the forums benefit nothing from having users with 0 posts making trades in the market section. It's a community website, not an auction house.

This 50 post thing is a struggle. I'm almost at my 3 month mark and I havent made 20 post yet xD. I'm ready to post my buying list in the market section lol

I just think it dumb cause some people such as myself forgot r old log ins from late 2000s. I bought many gbs + items over 2000 usd worth. and cause I got no posts or just joined this forum ppl wont trust me? we should still be able to post what we wanna sell? I don't use forum to talk ko I use it to buy + sell items/gbs ect but it is what is it. prob be able to post by end of 2017 lol
