difference is it's Blizzards product so they can do some much more, K2 can do fuck all the change the actually game without mgames ( the makers) doing the patching for them.

Even if Blizzard took on KO they would still be stuck in the same situation as K2 not being able to fix bugs ect but I am sure the CS and GM policing of the servers would be amazing.

i guess this is what happens

MGames Staff: K2 shitty fuktard, tell us what to fix, that's ur fuking job!

K2 Turds: Nothing atm, we're running good (100k usd from premium, 200k usd from ebay)

MGames Staff: r u sure? BBB shows u suck and ko4life wants a lot of changes, but u pay to us, its up to u

K2 Turds: as we said before, we're ok atm, maybe on next year gimme a patch for skillbar bug

MGames Staff: what skillbar bug? we never had it here

K2 Turds: er... then we dont need anything at all, our mistake, sorry, oke?

Part of that is true, and part of it isn't. They can not fix most bugs themselves (which is why quests are disabled right now), because they depend on MGAMES to do that. However, any information that is stored for this game is accessible to them in plain text files or SQL tables.

Blizzard just has system admins that know what they are doing. They aren't manually checking for this stuff. They don't need to. They have scripts going through their logs, doing automated bans and messages. That's what admins with any skill do. They are lazy, so they write scripts to automate everything.

I'm sure it was a script that sent out this email, because it noticed someone from 1 IP logging on to too many accounts that he's never logged before, or his IP was flagged as the source of another keylogged hacking.

Just like Devile said (who knows much more on the subject of being an admin than I):

As an IT professional, I understand that duping relies on creating 2 items with the same ID in the database. I'm pretty sure any JUNIOR DBA can fix that sort of problems with just 1 hand and eyes closed. Why is it so difficult to develop a fix for this problem in KO?

suppose blizzard they take up KO. They will quickly realize they are powerless to fix many bugs. Even they get their DB secure, the game is filled with hole like woven basket trying to hold water. They consider spending their money on a different MMO which they have total control over. Maybe they theme it to the popular game Warcraft. *wakes up* Nvm
