I think most ppl who prefer WOW pvp to KO's are probably ppl who just either cant combo for shit, or are just plain sick of K2,KO and everything to do with the game.

ko pvp is better but with speedhack and town option its sucky i have quitted ko because of wow played ko for like 3-4 years and quitted after playing 1 week of wow ^_^ gl hf with all the turks and cheaters ;>

Half is referring to the 100 pms ive gotten on msn from people saying wow sucks, the pvp sucks, the game is a joke... and they haven't ever played the game.

The answer is its just based on your preference. For me, wow pk offers more than the standard....

The differences are much much greater, from the environment, the way the parties interact, Lunar and DLW, what kind of classes you have in your party, your builds, etc. If you don't like KO pk cool, but don't use bs numbers you made up and diluted explanations of how you say people in KO pk. You are entitled to your opinion but if you want to actually debate it, bring some real reasons because so far, you fail. I don't think you will get much agreement in regard to pk pvp because it's just too obvious KO>WOW or seriously, everyone would just play WOW wouldn't they...

What annoys me is the ppl who keeps brings up the shit about KO pvp sux coz of cheating, lack of support, bad game policy etc. Its so wrong to judge a game mechanism based on its environment, yes we know the cheaters are annoying, yes we know u get slmed everyday, yes we know K2's CS sux etc. But Im sure the question was referring to an ideal pvp system without any interferes, or so to speak the game itself.
The game KO is pretty primitive compare to nowadays standard, but a game doesnt have to be super advanced or fancy to be good. Take a look at Counter-Strike, the game itself is a couple years old, with a few adjustment/evolution on the way, but the gameplay remain the same, and considered as the most popluar shooting game ever. Do I need to remind u how many type of cheats exist in CS? A lot more than KO would ever have, but ppl still love the game. Oh, that reminds me to mention gold farmers and cheats in WoW are not any better than KO, not to mention about their crap policy of getting hacked (pay a certain amount $ to get it recovered).
I havent PKed that much in WoW as much as I did in KO, but all I can say is its not my taste of real PvP. All u have to do is keep far away from ur counter class, and do ur skills in the right moment. The combo from KO is non-existence in WoW, therefore its basically all about strategy, its not exciting anymore when u learned ur class, then its move to lvling another char. While in KO u can keep improve urself with the same char.

Personally I would say try it, and see if it match ur taste or environment, after all everyone plays a game to have fun, so I dont see why u should "try to" enjoy KO's PvP if u dont. I myself enjoy KO PvP as much as playing CS, while WoW PvP seems too much strategy based to me.

PS: WoW's environment isnt that much greater as most of u think, its just that u can communicate with the ppl. There are a lot of kids and prick in the game around, so watch out..

But seriously WoW pvp isn't bad at all.. Arena that is.
If Blizzard could balance the classes and make the pvp less RNG (Random number generation) based it would be pretty good.
The combo system in KO is pretty nice but the random zerging gets boring.
So yeh the pk in KO is slightly better but overall WoW is better.

havent played official wow, but checking private servers i found that pvp is easy/boring

ko pvp is not "hard" and it doesnt require "fast fingers". You simply hit 2 or 3 buttons in a sequence over and over, and to heal you spam 2 or 3 buttons as much as you like. There is no strategy. In what kind of pvp game can 2 people play the same character at the same time? You can't do this in wow, because you actually have to react to events and prioritise actions. I can't see one person casting heals and the other dispelling, or one person spamming hemo and the other doing CC... KO pvp is really too simple and you all make out the combo to be more challenging than it really is. Personally i found playing rogue against top10 teams to be more difficult than playing a rogue in KO, because in ko you just do almost the same thing against anyone. On my rogue in wow no fight is ever the same, and i can distinguish myself from other rogues much easier. Of course wow pvp changes a lot against noobs in battlegrounds (its shit).

Btw rw do you really think HWL title means anything? There are so many HWL's at terrible ratings. The title is just a timesink, it doesnt mean skill. You should get gladiator on your own character before you comment on wow arena pvp.

I don't know what game your playing but the Knight Online I know only had good pk once in a blue moon.
Usually it was just scrubs on running in packs of 20 gangbanging some noob turks.

That being said, when pk was good on ko. It was good. Some 8 v 20 shit, that stuff was fun. Or some crazy solo, duo action. Definitely exciting.
But all the times going to CZ seeing too many ksers and scrubs that-- not so fun.

And the more I played the more I encountered the latter.

I'll stick to WoW tyvm. I like logging in and being able to just jump right into arenas whenever I want. Not being able to PK because its "turk time" isn't exactly what I want to do, but don't get me wrong. When PK was good in KO nothing will beat it, but the shit I found fun was rare.

And for anyone who thinks WOW has less cheaters you are completely uninformed and in actual fact gold farming in general is somewhat new to KO, it's been a regular stable for over 3 years that I have seen on WOW. And since WOW is a much more populated game there are waaaay more cheaters and farmers than KO could possibly imagine. The reason for this is that WOW items are worth a great deal more and easier to sell than KO with a much higher demand, and if anyone cares to debate it, I invite you to your own searches for macros and gold in both google and youtube (you will see 100x the results then if you did the same for KO). Maybe because WoW is 100x more successful than KO, ask a random gamer what Knight Online is... its a smaller closed off community. Why do you think KOXP is googled so much more in turkey, maybe they do cheat more, but maybe its also because they make up about 90% of the KO population. WoW is more popular then KO so naturally more people will try to cheat.

The biggest reason you don't know about the macro in WOW are because they don't look obvious like KO. And since there are some of you who will completely argue this point with nothing behind it, they have macros that are put out on a regular basis where your character can farm an entire area all day long 24 hrs a day and it looks just like it would if you were to do it without macro, although you'd probably die from playing as long as a bot can. There are guys who have 5+ computers running these macros all day every day 7 days a week who will sell you a super high level character in which you will never be scammed on, all for a nice hefty price tag.[/b]

And your comparing this to what? Oh the game where the gold farmers are killing Isiloons, Felankors, and Ultima for uniques worth HUNDREDS of dollars. THE HARDEST, Most difficult boss in the game, being killed by CHEATERS, that took no more then a few hours to level their characters.

My friend accidentally deleted one of his items the other day on Wow, he sent a support ticket and a GM replaced them in less than 2 hours.
Pretty neat.

And gold selling in WoW really isn't as harmful as it is in KO... since gear is generally bind on pickup, you can't just buy gold and all of a sudden run around 2 shotting people. All gold will get you is a cool little flying mount and maybe some enchants... which you need to put on gear..... that you need to earn....

Ive played WoW and KO with groups and solo, but i still find KO's pvp better and more entertaining.

KO is really fun when you pk with a group on vent, taking on whole nations with just 1 party. but its still also fun when you are solo and you take on like 5 enemy's at a time. I just dont get the same thrill from WoW as i do from KO.
