i think its like lutz said , you increase your hardware accelleration. Also enable write combining if it is not enabled. You get to these settings by choosing control panel, display, and then advanced i believe. there you will see a slide bar for hardware acceleration if it is set too low you will get that error message, if it set to high you may get a crash but mine has been working fine for the past couple of days.

ok there is another slide bar for performance/Quality, not sure where yours would be but try moving it 1 space towards quality

just reinstall ur gfx drivers as well as driectx, might help.. if not smth wrong with ur gfx, had the same and had to get a new one coz the cooler on mine wasnt working anymore duh..
