My suggestion, if you are upgrading +5 chitins, and you start with like 5 +5s, and all succes to +6, DONT go to +7, coz they will all burn >.< (happened to me and lots of friends, gea shit)

yeah me too, unless if i used trinas... they burn to +8

there is no tip.. just put it in and press up if you see white lights then its done if not you are not lucky thats it..

i dont believe on burning items before methode.

What seemed to be the most succesfull from my experience was doing an upgrade once a day at a random time, not trying everything in a row. That's how i got a salamander staff from +1rb to +10rb and made a few random +8s without losing many +7s over time.
Still i didn't do enough upgrades to determine a decrease in burns that way, but you should do whatever makes you feel lucky and what makes you dare to press that button anyway.

I think for any upgrade to need some planning / calculation the cost..
For +8 upgrade without Trina like chitin, ms or anything that below 80m, how many ? But if doing this to burn at same time , then how many 100 to 500 m item with Trina for standby..never try +9 and rev upgrade, cos I Burma them most of the time, any tips for rev upgrade..

Well the best thing to do is to stay far, far away from the anvil but we all know how hard that can be. Anywho, I normally do this to go from +7 to +8 with a unique item like a hell breaker+7 or scorching staff+7:

Burn 15x +8 middle class item (i.e. Two handed sword+8)
Burn 2 x +9 middle class item (i.e. maul +9, wood staff+9)
Burn 2x +6 high class unique item ( i.e. Eagle Eye+6, Dread Shield +6)

In that order. Then put on the +7 item u wanna make to +8 with a trina of course. Obviously, doesn't work all the time but I found some success with it. Just sharing how I do it....

What i do is to preview and cancel upgrades the same number of times that the "+" i want to make. If i need a +5 then i preview and cancel 5 times and so ... then at the last preview i press ok and pray xD
