Go with the intel quad core cpu if you can. Much better for vista, which I assume you're gonna use. If not, the amd is more than enough...Im happy with mine B)

awww, don't even try to get that build lol, it will not even work

you bought rams that are more expensive than your mobo, which is kinda cheap, bad solution I'd say
also, those rams are simply "too good" for the mobo

after changing that, the build would work out, for a week, then you would have it fried

don't save up money on the PSU, 450W is gonna hella underpower all of your parts

if I remember correctly that gpu will need at least a stable 30A on the 12v rail of the psu, I wouldn't expect yours to have even 20.

you chose a mid-end mobo, mid-end cpu, high end gpu, very high end rams and a very low end PSU

upgrade the PSU and the processor, to lets say a GOOD 600W (not no-names) and a core2duo intel processor, you won't need a quad on that mobo
buy some normal, 800Mhz rams, let's say from corsair, the cheapest ones they have, 2 x 1GB should be enough

and the keyboard, it's a little expensive, but if you really want a "gaming keyboard", buy it. But don't expect it to give you more performance than a 10$ one

    wtf are you talking about?

7200rpm slow? It's today's standard for gods sake. The only faster ones are 10k rpm but those cost alot more and it's pointless to use them for storage

that graphics card isn't that bad, I suppose he doesn't want to spend a fortune on a gpu -.-
this gpu will run KO without any problems till the end of it lol, my x1950pro is more than enough if we talk KO.

just read my previous post and do some changes to your build and it will be alright

amd dual core processors are a bit crappy compared to intels, dunno about their newly released quad cores

A 600W psu should be enough, but you might aswell get 750 just to be sure everything will run fine. But it's important that you buy a good one, there are many no name "1000W" which are gonna work just as crappy as any 400w, simply because more than 800 of those 1000W are supplied to the lower voltage rails. Your gpu is gonna draw alot of power from the +12V rail which is crappy in those cheap PSUs.
And believe me, you DON'T want to underpower a 8800gts gpu :P

Here's a decent script which may help you in choosing the right psu.
    http://www.extreme.outervision.com/powercalc.jsp

They wrote an important thing there thought:
The total PSU Wattage this tool recommends will give a general idea of the range of continuously available power (not peak power) at which you should be looking. But if you are planning to build a high end gaming system, total Amperage available on the +12V rails—and how that capacity is distributed—could be as or more important than total Watts of power.

So once you have established the likely power needs of your system, please make sure that any PSU you buy will provide sufficient Amps of current on the various rails for all of your devices, and that it will have the proven reliability, service and support you deserve.[/b]
Also, here's a list of good PSU brands, so you know what to buy:
    Seasonic
    Antec
    Enermax Liberty
    Fortron (FSP Group)
    OCZ
    PC Power & Cooling
    Silverstone
    Tagan
    Sparkle
    Scythe
    Zippy
    Emacs[/b]
Get one of those, they shouldn't fail you. Just check out if it supplies enough amperes on the +12V rail to power your mobo, cpu, gpu. When calculating that use their peak load power requirements, it's safest to do that.

well the parts looked good for a mouse I highly reccomend a logitech g5 wired mouse. You can change its weight change the sensitivity with two + and - button on it and it's 2000dpi. If you ever plan on getting a headset a plantronics one like this model here http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?sk...d=1186004297442 is working fine for me and ive had it for nearly 4 months. As for the keyboard good choice i love mine.
