go for a good graphics card geforce 7 series++
pc ram: 2GB++
2.5 Ghz +++
and other shit that coud help you... like extra space200GB+
good sound card i guess...
screen helps...
prolly dont need to bother with sound card. almsot all motherboards come with "on-board" (already there) sound cards. Aslong as it can make noise...should be fine for games.
2GB RAM usefull for the future... not so much needed right now but will become the norm as time goes on....probally...so might aswell save the hassel of having to upgrade later..
and yeah..agree with all else above (unless u dont need such a fookin huge hard-drive for storage)....a screen would help.....check it comes with an mouse and keyboard aswell whislt ur at it

This is my current computer... I lag quite a bit. What's wrong with this? Probably beef it up to 1 gig ram and a new graphics card?
just getting 1 gig of ram will clear up most of ure lagg.. for now just aim for 2 gigs of ram first on ure current comp.. then if u got money get a good graphics card... no need to buy a whole new comp
I work with computer , i know that 100 fps in counter strike if you know this game its the best.
And to have it you need to have :
G-force 5200 atleast
512ram atleast
Good PCI card
Then go and do on my computer , right click , Manage , and cheak if you have this
character : " ? " in yellow color.
If you have , try to install it , or download from your internet.
Your current computer seems alright, the fact that it says you have 446mb memory means that is onboard video sharing part of your main RAM, which slows that down...if you can get a slightly better video card...kinda need more information though, if you can upgrade it a bit :S
Buy a Video Card like Nvidia 7600GS/GT or ATI X850 or so and 1GB memory and your fine.Manufacturer: Compaq Presario 061
